Ryan Newman, leading the final lap of NASCAR's Daytona 500, was involved in a fiery crash Monday that saw his car spin and go airborne, flipping several times. Additionally, he is the winner of 18 Cup Series. (Reuters) - Driver Ryan Newman was released from the hospital on Wednesday, two days after a spectacular crash during the last lap of the Daytona 500 saw him carted off the track with injuries. Denny Hamlin won the 2020 Daytona 500 on Monday after an absolutely insane finish. Newman is in his 19th season with NASCAR and previously won the Daytona 500 in 2008.
